Our Commercial Lines coverages include:

  • General Liability Insurance

General Liability Insurance protects your commercial clients if they are sued for injury or property damage they may or may not have caused. The amount of coverage your clients require depend upon a couple of factors:

    1. The Perceived Risk - The amount of risk linked with your clients's business or industry. A company manufacturing complex machinery, would have a higher risk than one manufacturing handbags.
    2. Location of Operation - The location of the risk your client is trying to insure may influence coverage limits. In states with a record of awarding high amounts to plaintiffs, it is usually a good idea to carry a policy with a higher coverage limit.

Coverage on General Liability policies typically include:

    • Property Damage
    • Bodily Injury
    • Advertising Injury
    • Compensatory Damages
    • General Damages

General Liability policies exclude coverage on punitive damages, as they are considered punishment for intentional acts.

  • Commercial Property Insurance Coverage

Property Insurance Coverage provides protection against most risks including fire, theft and weather related damage.  Property Insurance Policies are written on one of three forms: basic form, also called “a fire policy”; broad form, also called “named perils”; and special form, also called “all risk” or “open perils”.

  • Garage Liability/Garagekeeper's Insurance

Garage Liability Insurance and Garagekeeper's Insurance is designed for auto repair shops, automobile dealers, garages, and service stations. Garage policies protect against claims of bodily injury and property damage as a result of business operations.  Both Garage Liability Insurance and Garagekeeper’s Coverage is needed to adequately insure true garage loss exposure.

  • Stand Alone Wind & Hail Insurance

Stand Alone Wind and Hail Insurance sometimes called Windstorm Insurance Coverage offers protection against wind, wind gusts, hail, tornadoes and additional related perils.  Stand alone wind & hail insurance provides protection against direct physical loss or property damage and may also cover living expenses. It is critical to have sufficient coverage to protect a home or real estate investment from extensive damage should a wind or hail event occur.

  • Professional Liability Insurance

Professional Liability, sometimes called Business Liability Insurance, Errors and Omissions Insurance or Malpractice Insurance is specialized to fit the needs of each client or company.  This type of coverage helps to ensure the protection of a client, that result in financial losses for the client, if sued for errors, mistakes, negligent acts or omissions while providing professional services.

  • Excess/Umbrella Insurance

Commercial Excess Insurance or Commercial Umbrella Insurance is written to cover damages over and above the primary or underlying insurance policy of a business owner.  This coverage is applied once the primary policy’s limit is exhausted in the event of a claim.

  • Liquor/Legal Liability Insurance

Liquor Legal Liability Insurance is designed for your commercial clients involved in operating restaurants, bars or taverns, casinos and other businesses selling, providing, or distributing alcoholic beverages.  Liquor Legal Liability Insurance protects against law suits by a third party (customer, client) who is injured or whose property is damaged.  Policies cover defense costs and pays claims for which the business is liable up to the policy limit. Keep in mind a commercial general liability policy typically excludes coverage for the sale of alcohol.

  • Builder's Risk Insurance

Builder's Risk Insurance provides protection against loss or damage to a building while under construction.  This insurance is typically terminated when the construction work has been completed and the property is ready for use or occupancy. A builder's risk policy does not normally protect against a general contractor’s negligence, failure to pay subcontractors, earthquake, flood, acts of war, or intentional acts of the owner.

  • Wet Marine/Ocean Marine Insurance

Ocean Marine or Wet Marine Insurance is designed to cover various hazards related to the movement of goods and/or services by ocean or sea.
